UPSTREAM COLOR is that sci-fi movie thing everyone is talking about. You’ve heard the names Shane Carruth (he’s the director) and Primer (his first film, you should see it) thrown around a bunch.
We are extra excited to work with Shane because he is the epitome of DIY artist/Renaissance man, working independently on every aspect of the film, and taking charge of his own distribution. Preorders for UPSTREAM COLOR start now and the film will be released on May 7.
I’m so glad we’re powering this. I got to watch the film at SXSW and absolutely loved it.

Down here in TN, flyers are placed in ziploc bags filled with stones that are thrown into driveways… Because placing it in the mailbox is too slow to advertise.
Whew. VHX @ SXSW was a blast. We met so many awesome people in Austin and got excited about all the tech conversations in the air.
